Canadian Violinist Exposed!

You gotta love them in any form and style. What’s our community without the violin? James Marks is making a name for himself as a musician who makes progressive contemporary music by taking influences from everywhere. At a young age, he performed onstage with his hero Ashley MacIsaac and also recorded an album with The Irish Rovers.

  1. James Marks sounds like someone I will really enjoy listening too!

    Ashley is a great hero for any modern fiddler, and when it comes to a fusion of the traditional and a more contemporary sound he has that down pat. MacIsaac has always been a fiddler who has been ahead of many of his peers in the modern mix of old and new. I still love his music.
